Clearing Up Some Religious Garbage on The Book of Job.
This addresses some common misconceptions and emphasizes the lessons that can be learned from Job's trials.

Job's story is often misinterpreted and used as a crutch for those experiencing hardships. There is an importance of understanding God's nature as a giver and Satan's role as a taker.

The discussion also covers the significance of prayer, protection, and the covenant believers have with God, ultimately concluding with the message of restoration and hope for a better future.

Takeaways

  • Job is often misinterpreted in churches as a reason for suffering.
  • God sees us as capable of pleasing Him, just like Job.
  • Satan is the one who takes away, not God.
  • Understanding our covenant with God is crucial.
  • Job's trials lasted a maximum of 18 months, not years.
  • We have a hedge of protection as believers.
  • God's nature is to give, not to take away.
  • Job's story should inspire appreciation for our covenant with Jesus.
  • Satan's main goal is to get us to curse God.
  • Restoration is possible, and God can give us double for our troubles.

We're going to clear up some religious garbage, amen? So, we're going to talk about the book of Job today. Job is a book, if you get into the book of Job, you'll understand your victory in Jesus Christ, amen? You'll understand it, it's been so misinterpreted for so long, so many people, they use the book of Job as a crutch, for why they're going through bad things

It's a crutch. I don't know why things are never working out for me You know; I know those guys over there They preach victory. They preach faith but you know what? I guess I'm just like Job I'm going through a Job season right now, no, that's garbage You know, you're going to find out a few things about Job that that's going to help you understand Listen, you're more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Can you shout amen? Come on? mean I'm going to give you some life -changing lessons from the book of Job

Amen between 10 and 20 of them see what we get through. Amen, but this is going to help you ready? It's going to help you I'm going to read from the Bible first. Is that okay? I know that's not appreciated sometimes Job 1:1

There was once a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless, a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. He had seven sons, three daughters. He owned 7 ,000 sheep, 3 ,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that area. Job's son would take turns preparing feasts

in their homes and they would also invite their three sisters to celebrate with them. When these celebrations ended, sometimes after several days, would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts. This was Job's regular practice, okay? It was his regular practice. Verse six, one day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord and the accuser, now remember that the accuser.

Okay, Satan the accuser came with them. Where have you come from the Lord asked, and Satan answered the Lord I've been patrolling the earth watching everything that's going on then the Lord said to ask Satan. Have you noticed my servant, Job? He's the finest man in all the earth. He's blameless a man of complete integrity He fears God and he stays away from evil Satan replied to Lord Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God You have always put a wall of protection around him. Come on. say that again. This is the devil speaking

You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You've made him prosper and everything he does. Look how rich he is. But reach out and take everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face. Verse 12. All right. You may test him. The Lord said to Satan, do whatever you want to do with everything he possesses, but don't harm him physically. So Satan left the Lord's presence. One day when Job's sons and daughters were feasting at the oldest brother's house, a messenger arrived at Job's home.

Anybody think they're having a bad day time in life just listen to what we're reading the next few minutes one day when Job sons and daughters were feasting at the oldest brother's house a Messenger arrived at Job's home with this news your oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them when the Sabian's they raided us They stole all the animals killed all the farmlands I'm the only one who escaped to tell you while he was still speaking another Messenger arrived with this news the fire of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the shepherds I'm the only one

Come on, it's a bad day. Verse 18.

chapter 2, almost done

Satan replied to the Lord, listen to this,

Alright.

anything bad. So, in all of this, Job did or said nothing wrong. Okay, some life changing lessons from that right there from the book of Job. Come on. Hey, this is going to bless you all. I promise you this is going to help every single one of you, Number one, I can please God. Come on, say this, say my life can please God.

Notice before Satan came before the Lord, Again, it was Satan that was looking to bring accusations against Job, but what did God say? God said, I mean, this right here, gives me a major confidence boost. Right here, what did God say? He said, have you noticed my servant, Job? He's perfect in all his ways, and he fears God. He's got nothing to do with evil, God didn't say, look at this loser. Look at this jerk Job, right? No, no, I mean, I

was brought up in a church, right? Church still teaches today. How many of know, you know, we miss it every day. Gods just not pleased with us, God's not happy with us. But no, but Job, God said Job did everything He fears God and he's got nothing to do with evil, so if Job could please God, remember this. Job's like one of the oldest books in the Bible. I think it's the oldest. If you go chronologically, Job is arguably the oldest book in the Bible, okay? And Job wasn't only before Christ, he was before the law.

He didn't even have Levitical priesthood as a mediator between him and God. He didn't have that, and two covenants ago, I told Dee last night I called the iPhone 1 covenant, amen? Two covenants ago, two generations of covenants ago, he was able to please God. So that shows you right there, you can live your life, what an awesome thing to know and understand that you can please God. Are you happy about that? Come on, you can please God. You don't have to say that I know God's probably not too pleased.

with me. No stop that. You can live, listen to me, if you think your life can't please God, you ain't never going to please him. If you think that, but if you understand, that I can read what God wants me to do, I can hear God's voice and then guess what? God will empower me to walk in his ways. Come on, then you're going to live like Job, amen? You're going to live like Job. Can you imagine that, that you can live your life in such a way that God himself is up in heaven saying, have you noticed my servant, Mike? Hey, he fears me.

He's got nothing to do with evil hallelujah. No, I believe God is saying that about each and every one of you right now Can you say amen come on? He's pleased with you. He loves you. He's got a plan and a purpose for your life Hallelujah, don't have this idea that you miss it every day stop if that's what you have you've been thinking stop stop God sees you and he's pleased with you and you're exactly where you're supposed to be in the mighty name of Jesus Amen. I understand number one my life can please God one more time say that my

Life can please God Number one. can please God number two very important Satan took from Job Satan took from Job right because if you're not careful you get confused you get confused you because you see Job said Job himself said the Lord has given and the Lord has taken away And you know you hear a lot of stupid people use that verse right there, especially in such as it is a song and the Lord give us and the Lord take us away he give us and he takes

Because listen, you all heard me preach it, That's stupid. That's anti -God. That's anti -scriptural, but someone, Some Pharisee one time hopped on my page. I call them Pharisees, hopped on my page and said it. But Job said that That's what he said and he's not wrong. Yeah, Job did say that, and you know what God said to Job right after that? Job 42:3 here's what God said. Who is it that questions my wisdom with such ignorance? And here's what Job said.

It is I, and I was talking about things I know not. Hallelujah. He was talking about things he knows not. And Job, he gets a pass, Job didn't have a Bible, hallelujah. Job didn't even know there was a devil. He didn't even know there was a devil, right? Job didn't know what you know. Job didn't know what I know...

Job didn't have a Bible, he didn't have Google, amen? No, so everything he thought that was happening to him, he thought was happening because of God. That's what he thought. So, number two again, understand, Satan took what Job had, Satan did it, I mean, I was at a service one time and his pastor made me laugh, hallelujah, I love this pastor, right? The worship team started singing that song, that song, the one we just talked about, he gives, and he takes away, he gives and he

takes away, right? And I was watching him, because as soon as I heard the song, I'm like, here we go. And I see he's looking at his notes, like what he's going to preach that day, so he's not paying attention. So, I'm like, man, Because I kind of wanted to see what was going to happen, but then what happened, as he was looking at his notes, the unbelief, the unscripturalness, is that a word? The unscripturalness of that song, it kind of jerked him out of what he was doing. I seen him, like, look up, He looked up, and he looked over at his wife, and he's like, what are they singing?

And she tells him he gives, and he takes away and he got all mad I seen it I see them get mad and he's like he said that ain't true, right?

that's garbage amen that's what he should have said amen he's like no Job said that but Job got rebuked for saying that hey he got up he snatched the mic out of the worship leaders right right out of his hand said don't ever sing that song in this church again my God gives and he doesn't take can you say amen come on your God's a giver he's not a taker hallelujah come on Satan took God did not take from Job I mean people lose a child and at

child's funeral some idiot minister will get up and say well the Lord gave us you know, and the Lord take it away blessed to be the name of the Lord no and then what happens when all the family members you know what if that's God I don't

ever want to come to church, amen? If that's the God that you serve, I don't want nothing to do with him. No, the Lord gives, Satan took, amen? Job 2:7 So Satan left the Lord's presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot. When Satan came on the scene, everything started getting killed. Everything started getting taken away, right? Satan is the taker.

Get that straight today. Come on says Satan takes Satan takes he's a loser and he's a thief the Bible says TL Osborne calls it the gospel in one verse the thief John 10:10 the thief right Satan the thief comes to steal kill and destroy so anything in your life that's any death any loss any Destruction any anxiety knows that God's not the author of it. Amen. He's not there. Remember that because that's Satan's master plan. What's his master plan?

To punch you in the face and then to get you mad at God for it. That's what he's doing He's punched a lot of us in the face recently. Amen, and but we're not going to get mad at God We know it's Satan and he's a loser and he's defeated. Can you say amen? I know it's God's will I know God gave me this cancer. I know God took my child home No, that's stupid. God's the author of life Satan comes to steal kill and destroy and if you understand that if you understand that all the anger that your people are wrongly directing at God

you'll direct it at the right source, and you'll start using your authority, you know? You'll get mad at, like I am right now just talking about it, you'll get a hatred for the devil, a hatred for evil, hatred for wickedness, right? And you'll get a love for God, can you say amen? Come on, so number two, Satan took. Number three, God gave.

God's a giver, amen, he's a giver. Bible says in James 1:17 every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. God's a giver, that should make you happy. I mean, say that God's a giver.

Come on, Hebrews 11:6 he's a rewarder for those who diligently seek him, James 1:17 again, let me read the whole thing. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variance and no shadow of turning. That means it ain't never going to change, hallelujah? He's a giver then, he's a giver today, and he's going to be a giver for every day and the rest of your life. Can you say amen? He's a giver, he's not taking. Come on, when God was on the scene, you read it. Job was the richest,

God gave Job so much that Satan himself had to say look how rich you made him look listen God doesn't take God's in the giving business Amen for God so loved the world not God so hated the world He destroyed it with fire. No God so loved the world that he gave come on God So loved the world that he gave come on He's a giver Romans 8:32 Bible says this since he didn't spare even his only son but gave him up for us all won't he also give us

everything else I should encourage everybody in here today come on won't he also give us how much more how much more will he give when he gives us all these other things what's that include come on your God is a giver Gods not an author of some child dying God's not an author of your husband dying of cancer Satan takes God gives God's a giver you got to get that in your spirit amen the more I pursue God you say that the more I pursue him the harder I follow after God

The more HE has rewards for me God don't wake up mad one day and take from me and other days I'm in a good mood today and I'm going to give you something. No, no we don't have a vision of a schizophrenic Jesus, amen. He's not schizophrenic, he's a giver today and he'll be a giver for the rest of your life, amen. you can't have that understanding and rightly divide the book of Job. You just can't do it. People got so messed up in this book.

this book right here they don't read it and and correctly divide it right they don't rightly divide it as the Bible says it no they read they read and Job they read that Job said that the Lord has given and the Lord has taken away I've heard that so many times and then what happens they start repeating that I'm telling you go to churches and they'll literally repeat that but again what did Job say I'm sorry I was speaking about things I know nothing about that's what he said just because someone said something in the Bible doesn't mean it's doctrine it doesn't

mean, it's doctrine. You know, they said that woman that broke the alabaster box, what did they say to her? When she poured the perfume over Jesus, someone said that should have been sold and money given to the poor. So, is that doctrine? No, Jesus said they were wrong. Jesus said you're wrong. So, let's see, one more time. The devil's a taker and God's a giver, amen? You serve the devil, everything dries up. Everything dries up. I'm telling you, if I quit ministry today

and I went to sell heroin joined a gang started doing a whole bunch of illegal stuff come on rebel Mike I'm not going to live as long as if I serve the Lord amen I'm just not going to there's things I can do to open the door for the devil to come in and subtract from my life but then there's things I can do praise the Lord I can serve God and God will add to my life amen God's going to add to each and every life sitting in this room today in the mighty name of Jesus I want you to know that I want you to believe that I want

that to come alive on the inside when you serve Jehovah come on the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, he's got a reward system amen I said he's got a reward when you serve him, he rewards you he rewards you right Satan took but God gave

Understand covenant.

Understand covenant God's a covenant God. Amen. He's a covenant God So when you read Job all those things that happened to Job, you can't say you can't even say that they could happen to you They can't happen to you and I'm going to teach you right here because Job was not in the covenant that we're in No, and I'm going to show you one big big example of this, right? How was the door open for Satan to come in anyone that comes to Healing School should know the answer to that? how Satan accused Job on a basis of justification, right? He said look how much you

blessed him of course he serves you but if you let me in if I can just touch him I can get him to curse you that's what he said I can get him to curse you Job was justified by his own works okay think about this so Job had to prove his own justification that's just the covenant he was in the modern believer say that's me the modern believer that's you right Hebrews 8:6 we now have a far better covenant based on better promises so I'm not under Job's covenant and either are you Job

again, was before the law but then Moses brought in a new covenant and then Jesus fulfilled that covenant and opened up the covenant that we're under can you say amen it? Job was a rotary rotary house phone flip phone kind of covenant no come on we're an iPhone smartphone covenant come on you got to grab that Job was like this imperfect a super imperfect covenant and one of those imperfections of that covenant was Job had to prove by his work

He had to his own justification you and me come on modern believer's post death and resurrection of Jesus Christ That's you. I'm not justified by my works. You are not

justified by your works. Grab that. The modern believer that's you is justified by what? By faith in Jesus Christ. By hallelujah. Thank God for that. Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Christ Jesus that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law. For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. Come on.

I'm justified in God's sight. Come on, hallelujah, not by what we do. I'm not killing bulls and goats. I'm not killing bulls and goats hoping my daughters, hoping Alexis and Tori didn't sin today. Praise God I don't have to do that, Job had to do that. That's what he had. I'm justified by my faith in what Jesus did for me, in his shed blood for me. Jesus is my justification. Can you say amen? Come on.

Why am I telling you all this because it's so so important the basis that Satan used to get the Job you got to grab this what he used to get the Job could never be used to get Mike no any one of you he can't use it right if Satan went into the presence of God and said to God and let me touch Mike right now and I can get him to curse you God would

tell him to hit the road he would tell him to leave right come on because my justification don't have to be proved by me thank you Jesus for that right my justification your justification is sealed because of what Jesus did and sealed when you put your faith in that say that's me come on God put your faith can you say amen hallelujah only only a stupid person reads the book of Job and says well maybe I'm just like Job no that's stupid hey you don't know how to rightly divide the scripture

You're not in Job's boat. You're not in Job's boat. Job makes you appreciate the covenant that you got with Jesus Christ, amen?

thank Him that what happened to Job can never happen to you in Jesus' mighty name. Come on, as I was preparing this, had to re -pray. Lord, I thank you. Hallelujah, I thank you. Come on. Number four, understand your covenant with God. Number five, Job's entire ordeal took place in 18 months, right? Bible scholars will tell you. Listen, I'm giving you the worst example.

I've heard weeks and months, and I've heard 18 months. I'm trying to give you the worst -case scenario 18 months, okay now look at Job 42 I want to read this something verse 10 When Job prayed for his friends the Lord restored his fortunes in fact the Lord gave him twice as much as before everybody say double All right, say it like you want double

When Joe prayed for his friends the Lord restored his fortunes in fact the Lord gave him twice as much as before then all his brothers sisters and former friends came and feasted with him in his home they consoled him and comforted him because all the trials that were brought against him and each one of them brought him a gift of money and a gold ring so the Lord blessed Job listen to this so the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning for now he had 14 ,000 sheep six thousand

camels, 1 ,000 teams of oxen, 1 ,000 female donkeys. He also gave Job seven more sons and three more daughters, right? And then they list the name of the daughters. Verse 15, in all the land no woman

were as lovely and beautiful as the daughters of Job and their father put them into his will along with their brothers. Listen, this is just funny, but if you got ugly kids, it's a sign you're really not walking in covenant with God. Because God only promised to give you children, right? He promised even two covenants ago, right? You got beautiful children. Can you say amen for that? Every single one, you got beautiful children and grandchildren in the mighty name of Jesus. c'mon Praise the Lord.

Verse 15, in all the land, no woman were as lovely as the daughters of Job, and her father put them in all along their brothers. Listen, Job lived 140 years after that, living to see four generations of his children and grandchildren. Then he died, an old man who had lived a long, full life. Okay, where do we start off? The ordeal lasted 18 months, okay? Again, some scholars will say weeks and even months, okay? Worst case scenario.

lasted 18 months after God got him out of that ordeal he lived another 140 years so when someone says to you you know I'm Job I've been battling this depression for 17 years I've been battling with this problem for 11 years no no Job's covenant two covenants ago got him out in 18 months 18 months right so there's no long struggle for a Christian amen there's no long when Psalms 35 weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in

morning. Come on, you heard me say it before, right? It's normal in your life to be challenged, but it's unscriptural to be defeated. Come on, do you get that? It's normal in life to be challenged, but it's unscriptural to be defeated. Can you say amen? Come on, Proverbs 3 verse 27. If you have the power to help someone, don't tell them to come back tomorrow. Help them today. Listen, God's not a hypocrite. He's

not a hypocrite. Think about that. He wouldn't tell us in his word right there, right? If it's in your power to help someone today, don't tell don't tell them to come back tomorrow. Help them today and then then say tell them to wait another day. Jesus never made anybody wait. Amen. And he's not going to make you wait. As soon as someone asks, they receive as soon as soon as someone knocks on that door. It was open. It was open. Come on. Don't write off. Don't allow some long struggle with sickness or disease

Don't allow some strong long struggle with poverty or mental. I don't allow it Don't let the devil lie to you I'm telling you in the name of Jesus lift your hands everything that you're battling right now That's overstepped one night your weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning I declare that today this morning is your morning of deliverance in the mighty name every challenge that's coming into your life. It's got an expiration date I declare that

expiration date is to be today free in the mighty name of Jesus come on if you believe it shout, I receive it hallelujah

Number six remember this very important you can't compare yourself to Job okay if you if you go to church and they're comparing you to Job leave amen leave come on one thing you get what and this and this might be one of the most important things on these first six points right right

Job was before Christ. I think that one thing, right, I already said Job gives you an appreciation for the covenant we got now, and one thing, when people make it like, we're in the same boat with Job, we're in the same boat, they're extremely ignorant, Job had no ability to pray. Think about this, he had no ability to pray. When Satan came to attack Job, think about this, if Satan comes to attack me, number one, I got a hedge of protection around me, amen? Just like you,

Even if I didn't even if I didn't what could I say that Job couldn't say I could say in the name of Jesus I command you Satan to go I command you to go in the name as I command you to lift your hand off my life and off of my family right I can do that Why?

Why would Satan listen to me why would Satan listen to me when I use the name of Jesus Philippians 2 verse 5 because Jesus humbled himself left the heights of heaven and died a criminal's death on the cross God raised him to new heights in heaven and he has given him a name that's above every other name that in the mention of the name of Jesus everything under the earth on the earth and above the earth has to bow at the mention of that name could Job use the name of Jesus no no

Why can I? Because Jesus finished the work of the cross. When Job was alive, Jesus wasn't even here yet. So, one thing you see with Job, he said in Job 9:33 listen to this, said, right, well, please, wish, that I had an advocate to take my case before God. That was Job, right? In the Hebrew, that's a word picture. that I had a mediator, right? To put his hand on my shoulder and on Gods

shoulder and mediate our case. That's what he longed for. What am I trying to But I don't have

That's what he said. I don't have it. We do come on. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord you do Jesus became our advocate right and then Job said prophetically he said Job 19:25 but as for me I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. Come on say amen for that Hallelujah. Job shows that without Christ were in trouble. Hallelujah.

but without Christ, right?

mankind was under a reign of terror from devils in his cohorts what do you call them his little minions amen but when Jesus came to get this he came to deliver us from all the oppressions of the devil when Christ hung on that cross and he said when he said it is finished grabbed that's an announcement to Satan and all his demon friends that your reign and your terror is over in the mighty name of Jesus that all who are in Christ that's you not

only do you got a head your protection, but you got a weapon I said you got a what you got the name of Jesus you can go boldly I said boldly before the cross

Joe couldn't go boldly before the throne Job couldn't say father that wasn't his father Jesus made God our father He couldn't say father in the name of Jesus. No, no name of Jesus. He didn't have sonship, right? No Job just had to plead that God didn't even have to listen to Job He didn't even have to but we've been given the right right that the veil and the temple that was separating man from God when Jesus breathed out his last breath the Bible said when he gave up the Holy Ghost the veil

in the temple tore supernaturally c'mon it wasn't some thin motel six curtain amen no it was a curtain it was a thick curtain in that temple that tore from top to bottom so that presence of God can come to you can come to me come on among his people that's you you're not Job you're not Job you got a recourse you can boldly say father I take my case to you go on you should do this

Father, and in Jesus' name, your word says this, your word says this, your word says that, right? It's not right, Father. I plead my case; I receive my health. Enough is enough, and that day, I promise you God will answer you. And guess what? That day is today. Every oppression of the devil that'll be broken off your life today in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, hallelujah, receive it. Receive it in the mighty name of Jesus.

Come on, it's yours. It's yours. Take it. Hallelujah. No more. No more. Number seven.

You can see what the will of the devil is, okay? When Satan was permitted to attack Job, what does he want to do? What does he want to do? Number seven, the first thing he went for, what was it? His family, his family, right? I mean, come on, the devil's got a will to destroy your family. how many know that? He wants to destroy your family, I mean, your kid's getting carried off into drug addiction, kids going to prison, kids walking around stressed out, confused, not living the way you trained them.

to live right Satan the first thing when he was given access was to rip his children apart to rip them apart but Jesus listen he undid Satan's control over us and our family come on so in the name of Jesus every will of the enemy against your children I don't care if it's sickness or disease whether it's death or addiction or anxiety I curse it now in the mighty name of Jesus come on Satan could do it to Jobs kids

But part of God's word was a hedge of protection around your children. Your children and your grandchildren won't die early. Your children and your grandchildren aren't allowed to go to the hospital from today. And for all the years to come, your children are declared blessed in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, talk about it in your home. Lay hands on your kids. Lay hands on your grandchildren. Thank God that what happened to Job's kids can never happen to your kids because you're Savior

is the Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Can you shout hallelujah? Can you shout amen? Come on. No more. No more. Not my kids and not your kids. Can you say amen? Number eight. What disappeared when Satan came on the scene? What disappeared? Job's joy.

and Job's peace Job's joy and Job's peace, right? Job was at peace, amen, he was rich, He was just enjoying wealth, His family was throwing him parties, amen, he was having a good life, And now what happens, one chapter later, he's sitting in sackcloth and ashes scraping his skin, That's what happened, So if you go to a church that has more tissue boxes, okay, than it does people, the Holy Ghost don't live there, amen? No, the Holy Ghost doesn't live there, Because the Bible says in Psalm 16:11 In Gods Presence

is fullness of joy. Come on, at the right hand, he's right here, our pleasures forevermore. Pleasure, come on, fullness of joy. Crying, mean, again, there's times to cry. But crying's not being close to God. God, God, no, no,

That's not God. That's not God. Tears are the devil's trophies. They're the devil's trophies. Satan likes to see you sad, okay? Satan likes to see you in a dimly lit room, Saying, I don't know what I'm going to do. That's exactly what he wants to do to you. He wants to isolate you. He wants you to get you by yourself, amen? Feeling sorry for yourself. No, fight for your joy. Come on, the joy of the Lord is your strength. Say, I'm going to have joy in Jesus' name. Come on, in the name of Jesus

Everything that's coming against your joy everything that's coming against your peace everything assigned by hell to rob you of your joy in your peace It comes under a curse now in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on I call you free. I call you full of joy I see many laughs at the devil from each and every one of you from this day forward in Jesus's name ha ha ha ha devil

It's so sad. Have you ever been in a waiting room at a child's cancer center? Have you ever been in a waiting You look at those parents' faces. It's brutal. It's brutal, right? That's what the devil wants. That's what he wants. you don't know whether the kid's going to live or die. You know, you see him with his bald head, swollen face from all the treatments, right? The devil deforming that kid's body, right? I don't know how people can think that's from God.

No, not for you and not for your families. Come on, in the name of Jesus, every harsh attack of the enemy against any person hearing my voice, right now I command it to lift off of your lives permanently in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, receive it. Receive it. You know what? Put those hands together and shout to the Lord God with a voice of triumph that you don't have to be sick another day in your life. Not one of your kids is going to suffer cancer in the mighty name of Jesus. Let there be instant testimonies in the mighty name of Jesus.

Let there be suddenlies in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, if that's anybody here today or someone listening later, testify to it. Testify. Hallelujah, that's your responsibility. Tell me now. Email me. Message me. Come on. Tell me all the Lord has done for you. Come on, be free in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on. Hallelujah. Number nine, Satan went after Job's money. Amen. Come on, if you think poverties of God, number one.

You're not the brightest crayon in the box amen you're just not right number two you don't know the Bible you don't know the Bible anybody can clearly see anybody above a third or fourth grade education can crack the Bible open and see when God was with Job what happened he prospered financially amen he did when Satan came on the scene what happened financial prosperity disappeared amen it disappeared and then when God's buses came back to Job in Job 42 money

multiplied it again and double. Hallelujah, double. Good luck making a case in the Bible that God wants you poor. Amen. I'd love to see one of those anti -prosperity preachers tell me where the Bible says he wants you poor. They can't do it. They can't do it. You read it from the beginning and end, From Genesis to Malachi, from Matthew to Revelation. Read it from the beginning and end. When God shows up in someone's life, their material wealth begins to multiply. Come on. When a devil showed up, he takes it away.

Come Satan had a plan. Satan was ticked off, Job was rich. Satan's ticked off when you're rich, amen? He is. Satan doesn't want the righteous to have any money. That's why CNN gets their panties all up in a bunch. And anytime a Christian gets a jet, how that is. they do. And they get mad at preachers. You know what? I made up my mind, right? I'm going to get an airline. I want to watch them completely lose it on live TV. Amen? I do. And stick it to the devil. Right? Come on. Make the wicked grind.

their teeth prepare a place for me in the presence of my enemy because why prosperity belongs to the children of God say prosperity belongs to me in Jesus name come on God gave Job wealth Satan took Job's wealth away amen when you hook up with God right Proverbs 10:22 the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and he adds no sorrow with it that means I don't have to feel bad about it hallelujah I don't know hallelujah

Number 10. Satan came after Job's body, okay? Satan, God didn't make Job sick. Number one, when they come at you, what about Job? God didn't do it to him, amen? Satan did, Job was like, the Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away. No, no, no. God gave Job health. Satan took Job's health, right? Satan is the author of sickness and disease. Luke 13:11

Jesus saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She'd been bent double for 18 years and was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, dear woman, you are healed of your sickness. Then he touched her and instantly she could stand straight. How, she praised God. But the leader, religion, right? But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant and that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath. How dare you heal them on the Sabbath, right?

There's six days of the week for working, he said to the crowd, come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath. Don't come today. You know, you're sick, it's too bad, we'll see you tomorrow, amen? No, no, but the Lord replied, you hypocrites, hey, I can say garbage. Jesus said you hypocrites, amen? Come on, he said, you hypocrites, each one of you works on a Sabbath day. Don't you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out of the water? This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham,

has been held in bondage by Satan for 18 years Okay, Satan. Jesus said Satan was the one who held her in bondage for 18 years, He said why should she have to suffer even one more day, That's Luke 13, And then Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth the Holy Spirit and with power

Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed for the devil for God was with him right Satan went after Job's body God restored Job's body sickness comes from the devil healing comes from God that's not difficult that's not difficult to understand right but somehow a lot of people manage to mess that up they managed to mess it up that pastor we listened to last week I own this I'm going to have this for the rest of my life he said but I but I own it I'll be alright with God on my side

No, why don't you get rid of it in the mighty name of Jesus? It's not sorry number 11

talk about the subject of the hedge amen come on and may have you got a hedge of protection come on when Satan wanted to test Job God said have at it go ahead right and say he said you know this is Satan said this you know I can't think about this but if you would only know who you are if you only take what we've been teaching you for these last 18 months here he can't touch you you got a wall of protection around you

You've been given all authority. You have a wall of fire. What was the hedge around? He said you put a wall of fire. Don't miss this. What was it around? Around him, around his family, and around everything he owns. Hey, come on, that's good news. The hedge, to his family and everything he owns. I mean, the hedge was breached in the book of Job, okay? But for you, for a New Testament believer, unless you choose to start serving the

devil amen if you do I'm sorry if you start serving the devil Ecclesiastes 10:8 says he that digs a pit shall fall into it and whoever breaks a hedge a serpent shall bite him okay so if you start serving the devil the same for you amen but that's not that's not anybody here can you say amen unless you open the door Satan can never breach that hedge so you should start thanking God you should you should do that right now

Gods got a wall of protection around you, your family, and everything you own. Come on. brother Mike, can you just pray that God keep? No. No, you don't even got to pray about it. No. Thank God for it that it's already there. I said it's already there. That's good news. You should get excited about that. Hallelujah. In the mighty name of Jesus. Can you shout hallelujah?

You can undo the hedge. How did he undo it? Job had fear. And the Bible says he wasn't quiet about it. What's that mean? He was scared and he started talking about it. You know, they hear people, they walk around telling everybody their problems, glorifying the devil, telling them everything the devil's doing, attacking their body. And they're opening the door, right? Job 3:25 This is Job. for the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me. That which I was afraid of has

come on to me, okay? You can be like some missionaries that before they head out, I heard some people recently, this is what they said, we're going to preach in a very dangerous place. We can be killed at any time. Yeah, yeah you can because you're stupid, amen? Because you're stupid because death and life are in the power of the tongue why is that even coming out of your mouth? We could be killed at any time. Yeah, that's right, you can, right? they just chose to line their mouth up with what the devil's will for their life is instead of what God...

plainly shows in His Word but they use their mouth to do the opposite. Don't be that person, amen? Only speak what the Word of God says, and you'll have what God says you can have. Come on, lift your hands right now. Come on, just begin to thank God. Thank Him that there's a hedge of protection around your life. Come on, thank Him that there's a hedge of protection around your family. That sickness can't breach that hedge. That car accidents can't breach that hedge. There's a wall of protection around you, around your family, around every single thing you own.

God doesn't just protect you he protects what he's blessed you with so thank them thank them out loud

I'll take time and do it with you come on father. I thank you I thank you that right now There's a wall of protection around me that the shield of faith quenches every fiery dart of the devil I thank you Lord you got a wall of protection around Dee around her body around her life Lord I thank you for a hedge of protection around my daughters  you around Alexis around Tory around their husbands around all four of my grandkids all their bodies all I thank you that no sickness can break through that wall no

attack can break through that wall every one of my church family here right now I thank you that no sickness will touch them I thank you that no disease and no death in the mighty name of Jesus come on if you believe that can you shout out living amen hallelujah Hedge of protection come on you're blessed hallelujah

12, how's it end? How's the story of Job end

How does somebody read the book of Job as a story you say you suffer for long periods of times how does it end that God restored to Job, he restored to him Job 42:10 God gave Job double one more time say double God gave Job back double everything he lost

Job had lost all his children. Job lost everything a person could lose, amen? He lost everything, right? But God made a way. God made a way, so the second half of his life was going to be way better than the first half. Can you say amen? Come on everybody now I'm talking to you right now. Anybody here that you've suffered a loss, you lost your husband, you lost your children, you had some tragedy in your life, you got some story similar. Any similar to Job?

When you lose, okay, listen, when you lose, Dee and I, we've lost some battles. I've lost some battles here. Amen, but the devil's attacked. And what are we doing right now? Are we crying about it? No, we're praying, amen? We're praying right now. We're believing and thanking God every day that he's given us, Double the meetings we used to have. Double the souls won Double the healings. Double the anointing. Double the joy. Come on, double the signs wonders and

Miracles in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. It is Finished come on however rough life has been for you Your life doesn't have to finish like it started come on if you'll hook up with God and faith today I promise you Gods got a plan not just to restore what you lost but to make the devil pay I said make the devil pay to refund you double everything that was taken come on and I believe that I believe your book doesn't have to finish the way it starts

you and God can write the final chapter starting today and my Bible says your latter shall be greater than your former in the mighty name of Jesus can you shout hallelujah come on last step finally whoo it's not going to finish the way it started come on you're not here by accident everybody here came here for a reason God touched you and he's not letting go amen he's holding on and he's going to guide you to victory every day for the rest of your life can you say amen number 13

This goes with number 12 really. Last one. What was Satan's main plan? What was his main plan in all those attacks? What was his main plan? Satan's biggest desire, it wasn't to take Job's kids. It wasn't to make them sick, right? The main plan of the devil from the beginning, and everything he does was to get Job to curse God.

Because if you could get him to turn his back on God, that's one of the biggest motivations we got, to never backslide, amen? No, see what an arrogant son of gun.

Satan is, hallelujah, hallelujah, now listen, what a son of a gun, Satan's a slimy, arrogant piece of loser, amen, that he thinks, right, that he's so arrogant, he thinks if he's got the chance with cocaine or women or alcohol or anxiety or crazy, he can get anybody. He thinks can get anybody, you know, think about that. If he had his chance and said, you know what, I'll show you, God. Look how much Dee and Mike love You

But I want to entice them like I do other preachers. Amen. I'm going to give them this I'm going to give them that I'm going to give them this right I'll show you I can get anybody to turn their back on you but listen, what did Job do? He never turned his back on God get that from this story. Amen. He never did I make up my mind I'm never turning my back on God. hey, all you got to do is make up your minds Come on, and I know that's all of you. You've made up your minds, right? Come on that everything that's bad that's happening in my life. It's it's only from

the devil come on it's Satan's main plan to get you to say forget you God I've had enough

you'll have people come out of the woodwork. You'll leave service today and somebody just like Job did you go to church you read the Bible. you listen to that guy Mike, right? what does that help you? What does that do for you? Listen, that's Satan that Satan using somebody right trying to trying to get you to say where has it gotten me? Where has serving the Lord got me right? That's what the Bible says Galatians 6:9 be not weary and well -doing for you shall reap a reward if you

don't give up and quit. Come on, he's trying to get you, when Satan's pressing you like that, when he's coming at you from all directions, he's trying to get you to say, I quit, I quit, right? But no, no, be like.

the example of Job in all this, right? He never sinned by blaming God. Understand that Satan is the one who's the aggressor in your life, against your life. And listen, God is the solution. You call on Him and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things you know not. If you get mad at God, that's the stupidest thing you can ever do. Amen? And I've been there. So, I'm not saying you can't be stupid sometimes. There's no more in the mighty name of Jesus. Even if God's in the wrong, okay, which He's not, but even if He was, even if He was,

What court you plan on taking God to? Come on. You can assume a divorce court, right? Bring him on judge Judy No, he's the Lord most high. So settle it today. Me and God, we're hooked up for life and I'm never turning my back on God. Come on, if you'll do that, if you'll stick with God, God will make a plan to increase you and make the latter end of your life greater than the former. Come on. You shall not be defeated in the mighty name of Jesus. You will not give up and quit in the mighty name of Jesus.

God that began a good work in you is going to bring it to completion in the mighty name of Jesus.
